Position Description:

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Volunteer for our Sustainability Group, you will:

1. Social Media Content Creation: Craft engaging and informative content for our social media platforms, sharing updates, tips, and stories that promote sustainable living.
2. Event Photography: Capture captivating photos at events to visually document our initiatives and activities.
3. Photo Library Management: Organize and maintain a digital photo library, ensuring easy access to high-quality visuals for marketing purposes.
4. Creative Messaging: Develop imaginative and impactful messaging for events, programs, and campaigns that resonate with our target audience.
5. Website Content Assistance: Collaborate with our team to update and enhance our website content, ensuring it accurately represents our group’s mission and offerings.
6. Digital Event Promotion: Utilise various digital channels to effectively promote our events, engaging our community and driving attendance.
7. Collaborative Participation: Work alongside fellow volunteers to brainstorm, plan, and execute marketing strategies that align with our group’s goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

To thrive as a Sustainability Group Marketing Volunteer, you should have:

• A creative mindset and a passion for sustainability.
• Proficiency in crafting engaging content for social media platforms.
• Photography skills and an eye for capturing impactful moments.
• Basic knowledge of photo editing software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and visual.
• Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
